How long is the STNA Class?

The STNA Class ranges from 2 weeks to 6 weeks depending on which class you sign up for. The weekend program is about 6 weeks long because the class is only held on Saturdays and Sundays. All class schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the program coordinator.

Are your day care provider certifications approved by ODJFS?

Yes. We are certified to provide the necessary certifications for all day care providers under ODJFS guidelines. These classes include CPR, First Aide, Child Abuse and Communicable disease.

Do I have to have a clean background to become a STNA?

No, although there may be some things that will prevent you from employment. We will review your background with you and give you honest advice.

Do you have payment plans for the STNA classes?

We have flexible payment plans that our tailored to the individual student. You only need $100 to hold your seat in the class and to start. All fees for the program are due prior to receiving your certificate of completion.

Do you help us with the state test?

We work with our students after the program is complete up until they pass the state test. We offer remedial courses and 1 on 1 training as needed for our students to help you be successful.

Do you really get us a job?

Job placement is offered upon successful completion of the course and completion of all requirements. You performance during the program is taken into account when setting up job placement. When the course is complete and you pass the state test we give you information for the facility we have aligned with for job placement.

Do you travel to companies for CPR and first aid?

We travel to companies for class sizes greater than 5 by request and for a small travel fee. Inquire within for other deals and offers we have for larger groups.

How old do I have to be to start the STNA program?

We require a high school diploma or GED. Some jobs may require you to be 18 years old.
